 <note>Objectives: the research aims to determine the relation of mother’s knowledge of exclusive breastfeeding and relation of mother’s attitude with exclusive breastfeeding. Methods: this research type is analytic observational study with cross sectional approach, retrieval of data from independent and dependent variables are done at the same time. Research time from December 2014 to January 2015. Samples were taken by purposive sampling with the number of respondents who obtained are 40 people who fit the criteria for inclusion and exclusion. Results: from 40 survey respondents, only 15 people (37.5%) who give exclusive breastfeeding. There is a significant relation of mother’s knowledgewith exclusive breastfeeding (p=0.001). And so is the relation of mother’s attitude with exclusive breastfeeding (p=0.000). Conclusion: there is significant relation of mother’s knowledge with exclusive breastfeeding. And there is significant relation of mother’s attitude with exclusive breastfeeding.
