Objective : To know the differences between the infants’ weight aged 0-6 months who consumed breast milk and those consumed get formulation milk in Khadijah I Hospital of Makassar. Method: This research method used case control design. The samples were 184 babies where 92 babies consumed breast milk and other 92 babies consumed formulation milk. The samples were obtained by using purposive sampling technique.Result: The result of the research showed that p = 0.021 (p= < 0.05) which meant that there was a difference between the infants weight aged 0-6 months who consumed breast milk and formulation milk. The difference in these two conditions could be due to different nutritional content of breast milk with formula. Conclusion: From the result obtained, it can be concluded that feeding breast milk to the infants aged 0-6 months gave more benefits for the infant growth especially for the infants weight because breast milk content is still better that the formulation milk content.
