 <note>Mechanism process in PT. Industri Kapal Indonesia (Persero) using machines and work tools.
Noise with high intensity of those machines and work tools will raise noise exposure and increase the
risk to the workers. To know the effect of exposed to noise on increase blood pressure of workers in PT
Industri Kapal Indonesia (Persero). This research uses observational study with a cross-sectional
approach. Total sample is 66 respondents. Data collecting was from questionnaire, secondary data,
measurement of blood pressure before and after working. Data analysis was done by univariate,
bivariate with Chi Square test and Wilcoxon test. Shows that there is significant effect of exposed to
noise on increase blood pressure (p = 0,000; OR = 28,6; 95% CI = 6,688). There is effect of exposed to
noise on increase blood pressure of workers in PT Industri Kapal Indonesia (Persero)
