 <note>Objective: To determine the relationship between the history of exclusive breastfeeding with  the  incidence  of  obesity  in  children  aged  4-6  years. Method: This  study  used  a cross-sectional  design  with  a  number  of  research  subjects  were  60  children,  or respectively  20  children  in  each  kindergarten  /  early  childhood.  Determination  of obesity  with  a  Z-score  based  on  BMI for  age. History  of  exclusive  breastfeeding  data obtained  through  interviews. Result:  Total  sample involved  in  this  study  were  60 children. Most samples of male sex with as much as 37 persons (61.7%), aged 4 and 5 years respectively by 27 persons (45%). Old breastfeeding is born-most 3 months were 28  children  (46.7%),  as  well  as  the  intensity  of mostly non-exclusive  breastfeeding  as many as 37 persons (61.7%). Conclusion: In this study, the statistical test result is got value p = 0.047 for duration of breastfeeding and p = 0.000 for intensity of breastfeeding which indicates that there is a relationship between a history of exclusive breastfeeding and obesity in children aged 4-6 years.
