 <note>Background: Good quality and amounts of sleeping time is one of the important&#13;
factor to maintain a good performance at studying and prevents many health&#13;
problems. Disruption at sleeping patterns could have impact to most of people.&#13;
Medical students are a unique example of young-adult group, having academic&#13;
commitment and certain lifestyles that could give impact to their sleeping&#13;
patterns. Continuous academic goals and pressures to this group could adds up to&#13;
an abnormal sleeping and wake up patterns, thus could impact negatively to their&#13;
academic achievements.&#13;
Goals: To find a relations between sleeping patterns and academic achievements&#13;
Methods: Descriptive-Analytic study with cross-sectional approach. Sample used&#13;
are students of medical faculty of University of Muhammadiyah Makassar.&#13;
Sampling technique used is stratified random sampling with a total 79 respondent&#13;
to the study from the sample group.&#13;
Results: Kolmogorov-Smirnoff variable test is used as an alternative test after the&#13;
