Objective: Determine the impact of cupping therapy to decrease numbers of blood pressure in hypertensive patients at Healthy House Al-Hijaamah Makassar, from December 2014 - January 2015. Method: This study used a Pre-experiment with using design One Group Pre-Post Test Design in 35 respondents hypertension who meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data collected by aneroid tension meter and observation sheet. Result: Univariate test results showed the average systolic blood pressure before cupping therapy 151.70 mmHg, with a standard deviation of 10.97 mmHg. Average systolic blood pressure after therapeutic cupping 146.29 mmHg, with a standard deviation of 13.303 mmHg. While the average diastolic blood pressure before cupping therapy 80.86 mmHg, with a standard deviation of 7.811 mmHg. Average diastolic blood pressure after cupping therapy 78.57 mmHg, with a standard deviation of 8.096 mmHg.
