 <note>Objective:  To  determine  the  related  factors  to  the  incidence  of  cephalgia  in  Neurology 
Policlinic of Pelamonia Hospital of Makassar. Methods: descriptive analytic study with cross 
sectional design. The sample are patients in the  Neurology Policlinic of Pelamonia Hospital 
the  age  range  of  21-70  years  and  with  complaints  of  cephalgia  in  December  2014  -  the 
sample  met.  Data  obtained  from  the  primary  data  through  a  questionnaire  to  determine 
whether  there  is  a  relationship  factors  that  cause  cephalgia,  then  analyzed  using  SPSS 
(Statistical Product and Service Solutions) for windowsversion 21 with Pearson Chi Square 
test  and  Kolmogorov-Smirnov  test  Test  alternatives.  Results:  The  number  of  samples 
involved in this study were 60 respondents. Most of the samples were classi fied as migraine 
as many as 32 people (53.3%), non-migraine 28 (46.7%) 48 (80%) aged ≥40 years, There are 
42 samples of women (70%), most jobs are PNS 26 (43.3%), abnormal nutritional status of 
40 people (66.7%), food containing MSG frequent category are 38 (63.3%), heavy workload 
of 26 respondents (43.3%). Conclusion: Prevalence of cephalgia in  Neurology Policlinic  of 
Pelamonia  Hospital  of  Makassar  in  December  2014  -  January  2015  is  quite  high.  In  this 
study,  a  statistically  significant  test  results  with  a  p-value  of  0.000  for  factor  nutritional 
status, food containing MSG 0.000 and 0.012 workload. As for the factors of age and gender 
results are not significant with p-value of 0.698 and 0.821.
